Mike Coward, who died in 2003, was one of the late 20th centurys most influential, versatile and eclectic structural geologists. This Geological Society special publication is composed of a diverse selection of papers that were presented, mainly by former research students, colleagues and collaborators of Mikes, at a two-day conference held at Burlington House to commemorate his work. At almost 600 pages, the book contains some thirty substantial papers that reflect the impressive breadth of Cowards interests.
