This is a dictionary published in Germany by a well-known international publishing house and is intended presumably for an American- and English-understanding readership.The author’s first language is obviously not English and yet the book appears to have totally escaped the usual competent editorial and proof-reading processes. The book has serious shortcomings including poor grammar and spelling, many factual errors and a number of confusing entries.
